Ownership
TCP’s goals include ownership of key recreational land parcels. These could be lands acquired by donation, similar to lands donated to other nonprofits like The Nature Conservancy, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, or numerous land trusts. TCP also seeks to acquire key parcels by purchase in order to prevent reduction of recreational opportunities. These lands could provide self-contained recreational opportunities or be connected to larger public land networks but require management solutions more efficiently implemented by a private entity.
